Taxis are available at the Taxi rank outside Arrivals. Expect to pay between €30 and €40 to get to the RDS.
Getting to RDS from the Train StationHeuston Railway Station - take the bust No. 4 toward the Monkstown Ave. Get off at RDS Ballsbridge.
The trip takes around 30 minutes and costs 2 EUR.
Connolly Train Station - take DART towards Bray (Daly), get off at Sandymounth, then walk for 10 minutes to the venue. Trip takes around 20 minutes and costs 2 EUR.
Getting to RDS by carAll car parking facilities at hte RDS are operated on a fee-paying basis. Daily parking & event visitors (subject to availability) costs 10 EUR.
You can park either at Merrion Road Card Park (Mo-Fri 7am - 7pm) or Simmonscourt Road and Anglesea Road Car Parks (Mo-Fri 7am - 7pm).
Getting to Dublin
Dublin Airport (around 10 km from the city centre)
In order to reach the city centre after arrival you may take either Aircoach, Dublin Express or Dublin Bus (routes 16,19 & 41). Bus journey takes between 20-45 minutes to get to the city. Alternatively, you may tak a taxi, which takes around 30-40 minutes and costs approximately 35 euros.
Trains to DublinConnoly, Heuston and Pearse Station are the main stations in Dublin, with each of them having long-distance intercity connections to other counties and Northern Ireland. Once in Dublin, the main stations are convenient for onward transportation.If you are arriving from the UK is also possible to travel by train & ferry in order to reach Dublin without flying.
