Milan is the capital city of the region of Lombardy in northern Italy. With its 1.4 million inhabitants it is the second largest city in Italy, after Rome. It is the country´s leading financial centre and its most prosperous manufacturing and commercial city.
The visitors are attracted by Milan´s museums and galleries that include some of the most important collections in the world, including the works by Leonardo da Vinci. The city is known for the majestic Il Duomo cathedral, the outstanding opera La Scala, the medieval Sforza Castle and the dazzling Vittorio Emanuele II shopping arcade. It is also one of the fashion capitals of the world and home to two famous football teams, A.C. Milan and Inter Milan.
Milan is simply full of attractions and is worth visiting any time of the year.

ARRIVING:
The city has three airports: Malpensa (MXP), Linate (LIN) and Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY).
From the main train stations, domestic and international connections are available.
Milano is also a crossroad of highways headed in several directions.

CONFERENCE VENUE LOCATION:
Allianz MiCo is right in front of the "Portello" underground station of the purple line M5.
The congress centre is right in front of the new Citylife district. The urban project that re-shaped the Portello area with the iconic architecture of its skyscrapers, residential building and shopping mall. The Citylife park, right in front of Allianz MiCo is the ideal space where to spend some spare time during the events happening at the convention centre.
